“Confusion” was written by Mick and Dain with help from Tom Kelley on lyrics. The song is featured on the “Mosaic” EP on Revlis Records. It is interesting in several ways.
First of all, it features Dain on 12 string leads and fills. Mick also adds a little spice by dropping a synthesizer in on the second verse and then alternating that with a strings patch for the choruses.
Another thing that sets this song apart is the doubletracking of Dain and Mick on the vocals to give us that “third” voice and then splitting on the harmonies. There’s another group who used to do that, but I can’t remember their name at the moment.
