Today Janis and I traveled from London to Liverpool by train, about a 3 hour trip. Once we arrived we got a cab to our hotel and found that this is a special week to honor The Beatles (August 25-29, 2016). How’s that for timing?
Liverpool is full of places related to the Famous Foursome. Right around the corner from our hotel, The Nadler, is The Jacaranda Club; one of the places The Beatles used to play. Mick is standing next to the calendar of events. If you notice, I have my jacket tied around my waist as it changes from hot to cold pretty quickly!
Just as a coincidence, on the fence just up the street from our hotel, we found this poster that looks surprisingly like Bambi Lynn, the woman who did our graphics for our single “Running Away/Nothing Really Matters”, our first album, “After The Laughter” and finally our new 6 song EP, “End Of Summer”.
