“Don’t Feel Bad” and “I Can’t Believe In You”
Not quite a medley, here are two songs back to back on (I think) Silver Laughter’s last night in Pierre at a club called The Flame Room. The performance took place in March of 1978. These songs were written by Mick Orton (now of The Silvers) and Jon Ludtke. Both Jon and Mick sing “Don’t Feel Bad” and Mick sings lead on “I Can’t Believe In You”. Both are on the album “Sailing On Fantasies”.
In the onstage banter you can hear Ken Wiles announce the song, then Paul Staack start the count… twice… Jon Ludtke is the voice you hear between songs talking about switching to 12 string.
The photo is another outtake from the Worthington photo session we did in 1976. Manager Art Stenstrom is behind the camera.
