Carl Frisch Sends Silver Laughter Ads

Gus Palms Lounge ad

Gus’ Palms Lounge ad

Carl Frisch says, “Whenever we arrived in a town for a gig, one of the first things I would do was grab a copy of the local paper.  Most of the time there would be an ad or press for S-L.  I would clip them out and save them for, perhaps, a future scrapbook.

“They never made it into that scrapbook, but I still have them.  You may not be able to tell from the photo, but the ad from the Chateau Paulette (to be posted tomorrow) was full page, Our biggest ever, I believe.”

Over the next few days I will post these. Thanks, Carl!
