Upon our arrival in Arnolds Park, about the only thing we were sure we had to do was the inductee orientation which took place at 10:30 in the Hedberg Theater in the Maritime Museum across the street from the IRRMA Museum and Roof Garden. Actually, that’s not entirely true since Mark knew about the Guitar Marching Band parade in which he was able to participate at 9:00 that morning.
In the bag of “goodies” we received at the orientation was the event schedule which is shown here. As you can see, they kept us pretty busy for those two days.
However, after the orientation ended, Janis and I walked around the boardwalk, had a frozen yogurt and then went back to the hotel to relax before the Inductee Meet and Greet in the Pavilion at 6:00 that evening. As I said before, the Meet and Greet consisted of a private and public session where bands got on stage to say a little bit about themselves.
Below are more miscellaneous pictures of our time in Arnolds Park.
