It occurred to me that the fellow who wrote the Prairie Sun review of “Sailing On Fantasies” may still be writing. Though his weekly newspaper, The Prairie Sun, out of Peoria, Illinois is no longer being published, I decided to look him up and send an e-mail to see if he remembered us. I am still not sure he did, but since he gave us a good review, I thought it would be interesting to contact him and see if the e-mail I found was still valid.
He quickly responded by e-mail that he was the very same Bill Knight. I offered to send him copies of both of our albums on CD to which he offered to send me, “…I’ll reciprocate with my anthology of longtime Prairie SUN critic and once-and-future Creem magazine writer Rick Johnson, who passed on in 2006.”

johnforrest says –I would like to see some old copies of the PRAIRIE SUN PUT ON THE INTERNET OR ON A WEBPAGE. THEY USED TO SEND ME ALBUMS TO REVIEW OR SOMETIMES GOT ME INTO LOCAL CONCERTS. I HAD A LOT OF STORIES PUBLISHED IN THE PRAIRIE SUN. I WISH THE PUBLICATION HAD RUN MUCH LONGER. I STARTED WRITING WHEN MUSIC SEEMED TO BE GETTING EXCEEDINGLY DULL IN THE LATE 1970S. THEN THINGS PERKED UP IN THE 1980S, I THINK.
