Back in 1999 a bunch of Davenport musicians got together and did an album for what I am assuming is the local FM station KFMH – 99. On this album were two Silver Laughter founding members, Jon Ludtke on vocals and guitar and Steve Elliott on vocals and lead guitar (formerly the Silver Laughter bass player) who were (are?) in a band called HI FI. Also in the band were Rex Schluenz on  bass and Steve Schwienberger on drums.

One of their Ludtke-Elliott original songs, “Any Day”, appears on the record. Also appearing on the album is Jim Schwall of the Siegal-Schwall Band, one of Jon and Steve’s old favorites. Jon gave me this record when we met up at the 2003 West High School class reunion in Davenport, Iowa.
