The band was just phasing out the Beatles tribute sets when I joined the band. They still played some of the Beatles tunes but they didn’t have the slide show as before. I can remember that Dec. in 1980 when John Lennon was murdered (who can’t, if you were alive) and all I kept thinking was just how sad the old band mates must have been. I was a Beatles fan too, was 4 yrs. old when they played Ed Sullivan, but these mates lived, breathed, ate the Beatles, you can hear it in their music and style. I just remember feeling so bad for Silver Laughter. 1980 was a sad yr for Rock and Roll. R.I.P. J.Lennon Beatles, B. Scott, AC/DC, J. Bonham, Led Zepplin.
