The SILVERS Newsletter March 2026

From Dain: I’m working on guitar tracks for our upcoming album, Facing Forward and Looking back – solos, fills, and extra rhythm guitar as needed. I record a main rhythm guitar during our studio sessions, and then write additional guitar work as I go. I’m really enjoying the process with what I think will be a really interesting record – we’re always getting better and this one feels like everything is clicking.  I’m really looking forward to getting the parts complete (I’m getting there!) so we can move one step forward towards the finished album.

From Mick: We are moving slowly toward the release of our new album, “Facing Forward and Looking Back”. And WOAFM99 in the UK is going to do an audio and video interview which is supposed to air next week, And we will post the links on our website. As for me, I am playing a lot of golf and enjoying it less! As I say, we work really hard all our life to retire and then spend a lot of time playing the hardest game possible. Soon I will be getting back to writing more music, hopefully collaborating with Dain like we did on these last 5 songs. So hang in there. It’s coming.

From Carl: We had a great recording session on the new album “Facing Forward and Looking Back”.  I’m looking forward to hearing the finished product.  I’m playing with a couple of local bands, meeting new local musicians and continuing to learn my instrument. Music is a big part of my life and creating with The Silvers is a very rewarding experience.
