Mick says, “The song, ‘It’s So Fast’, is number one for three weeks in a row to start off 2026! But there was bad news as I was getting set to travel to the San Francisco Bay Area to record the last 6 songs for our upcoming album. Dain said he was coming down with a bad cold. And he wasn’t even traveling or on a cruise! So, we wisely put off our studio work until (probably) mid-March. No sense getting everyone sick. But hang in there, friends, more music is coming soon!”
From Dain: “Well, as we enjoyed a Holiday Season and welcoming a New Year, sickness struck our plucky Brit! A cold postponed Christmas dinner with family, and then another one got him as we were getting ready to record! We wisely chose to push recording for a couple of months. May the beginning off Spring make for a more fertile time for creativity to grow! It also means we have more time to really see about layering our current batch of songs with more ideas, and maybe even get a few more written.”
Carl says, ” I’ve got a couple more songs that I have lyrics for … I’m gonna mess around with some chords and rhythms too since we have a bit more time.” Just so you know, Carl has written another song with Dain called “Without You” for the next recording session, and it’s a beauty!
