Note: Read the review on Jango HERE.
Overall Impression: A speedy Rocking ride, It’s So Fast by The Silvers hits the gas and never looks back. This quick tune pulls together elements of 60’s Surf and Pop Rock for an approachable and fun listen. It kicks off with enough energy to fuel a rocket and relishes in its bright tempo and mood. This is a particularly fitting backdrop for the lyrics, which emphasize taking time to enjoy life’s moments and not getting too caught up in the race. Both the lead guitar and vocals emit a surplus of catchy melodies. The vocal harmonies work in tandem with the lead vocals, and are supported by the memorable guitar work. This is the sort of tune that turns the fun up a notch, is gone in a flash, and leaves the listener ready for more. All in all, It’s So Fast is another Rock solid and approachable tune by The Silvers that will stick in your mind all afternoon.

Strongest Point(s): There is a cool Rock edge to this tune that is almost Punk. It is softened significantly by the vocals, resulting in a high energy mood that will attract a wide audience. This is present throughout the entirety of It’s So Fast, and really reinforces the lyrical content. The guitar work and melodies all fit together well and share this same kind of energy. Everything is pointed in the same direction, and it works quite well.

Target Audience Appeal: Fans of Surf Rock, 60’s Rock, and Pop Rock will dig It’s So Fast by The Silvers.

Artist target suggestions: Beach Boys, Dick Dale and the Deltones, The Cars, Cheap Trick, The Kinks, The Monkees, The Surfaris, The Cramps, MxPx, Green Day, Less Than Jake, The Astronauts, The Ramones, The Clash
