Overall Impression: Powered by a bouncy groove, “Meant For Great Things” by The Silvers drives forward with a Pop Rock sound. This new tune features strong, memorable melodies and finely crafted lyrics for a listening experience that is enjoyable from beginning to end.
The verses describe two individuals, both beautiful and broken in their own ways, and the hardships they endure while getting on with life. The chorus lends an empathetic and consoling hand with a touch of hope.
Each set of lyrics is written with just enough imagery and relatability so the listener can identify similar people in their own life. They are carried by easy-going vocals that reflect the realistic nature of the lyrics. Overall, “Meant For Great Things” is one of the most promising recent releases by The Silvers, and will surely gain them more fans.

Strongest Point(s): The groove and lyrics really shine in “Meant For Great Things”. The groove is bouncy and infectious, and sets the foundation for some fine vocal embellishment. Fortunately, The Silvers take the opportunity and wrap the lyrics in some very catchy melodies. This lessens the darkness and roughness portrayed in the lyrics, and gives the song a unique character.
