Producers Louie Gibson (Mel’s son) and Joe Dietsch have decided to use TWO songs by The SILVERS for the movie, “Manifest West” Set for release sometime in May, 2022.
We had the news that “Keep On Believing” from our “End Of Summer” EP (available at Revlis Records for download or at Genterine Records on CD) was going to be used back in 2020.
However, we were happily informed today that they will also use “Looking Good” from that same EP. Both songs feature the old Silvers lineup of Tom Kelley (guitar), Ricky Zero (guitar), Glenn Stone (drums) and Mick Orton (bass and vocals), and the songs were mixed and mastered by Stuart Epps.
We’re not sure exactly where they will show up in the story, but we are very happy for the exposure as these two were being considered for our live set way back before Covid hit. This movie has gotten some really great press from its exposure in one of the film festivals, so we expect great things!
