“I Want To Be Sedated”

Click on the link above to hear the 1979 Silver Laughter performance of this tune by the Ramones. As I remember, this was a really fun song to do.

Ken and I used to bop around the stage while Jon was on vocal, not too much, but we looked like we were having a great time, and we were! I think this one is also a little fast.

Since the last few music postings from 1979 are all from the same set, I am thinking we were really excited to be playing this new material and compensated by speeding things up.

Jon is on lead vocal and rhythm, Ken is on lead guitar, Kim is on drums and Mick is on bass. All of us joined in on vocal fills at the end. You can hear the crowd noise at the very end of the clip. Hey, Mickey, they liked it!

By now both Glenn Stone (now drummer for The Silvers) and Carl Frisch were on the board for lights and sound. The photo was cropped from our 1975 Beatles Tribute promo before Kim left, only to rejoin in 1978.
