Silver Laughter co-founder, Steve Elliott, has always been active in music. I remember the early cover songs they did that included vocally challenging numbers like “Living Loving Maid” by Led Zeppelin, “I’ve Got a Feelin'” by The Beatles and some Guess Who selections which were done to perfection!

After leaving Silver Laughter (SL) in 1975 or so, Steve went on to form a country rock flavored band called Sneaky Feelin’. As past photos show, several SL members were part of this group throughout the years they were active. (John Carstensen and Denny Walton were in the band at different times). In the end only Steve was the last Silver Laughter member remaining as shown in the attached photograph.

Sneaky Feelin’ broke up, and Steve then went on to start the band HiFi. Former Silver Laughter members Kim and Jon Ludtke participated in the group at various times. The publicity picture shows drummer Kim Ludtke in the lower right corner. Unfortunately, I do not have a photo with Jon in it.

Today Steve is still very active in the Quad Cities music scene with The Acoustic Project who play regularly at clubs around the area. They have a profile on ReverbNation where their music may be heard.
