To this point I have been reluctant to put all our original music from the albums up on the website, but this song from our first album, “Handle With Care” is a good one and worth publishing here.
Ken Wiles sings lead on this 1976 composition with the rest of us on backup vocals. That’s Jon in the middle 8 with Ken answering him. It was written by the Ludtke – Orton team. The bass riff (and matching guitar part) came to me as the inspiration for this song which Jon and I built around it. Kim Ludtke played drums on this studio session though Paul was there during the recording of the album.
Also of note is the exceptional dueling guitar parts Ken added to the arrangement.
Included is a 1976 picture from the Worthington photo session which includes our “fifth Silver Laughter”, sound and light man Carl Frisch.
