On stage with Kim’s huge set of drums

Around January of 1979, Kim Ludtke returned to Silver Laughter and bought this huge set of drums. He had sold his Rogers drums to pay for school tuition. Here he is playing the TAMA kit he bought in Minneapolis. That’s Jon on the right playing his white Gibson Les Paul. We do not remember the venue.

(Note from Glenn Stone, our sound and light man in those last days: “That’s the Tama kit Kim bought at B’Sharp Music in the Twin Cities. I may have even taken this pic, I’m not sure.”)
