When I’m 64… TODAY!

Balloon Ride in Serengeti

Balloon Ride in Serengeti

“When I’m Sixty Four”

This is a big clip, so let the whole thing download before you press “play”. In this song, Jon is singing lead with Ken on bass and me on electric piano.

Back when Silver Laughter did this song in our Calgary Beatles Tribute, I never thought I would make it! After all, that was really OLD! In fact, when Silver Laughter was going strong, the song, “Sing Me Your Love Songs” was all about looking back and cherishing the past! We were only in our late twenties! Well, that’s where I am today.

Janis and I just returned from Africa where we spent two weeks on safari seeing just about every animal on the continent then another week in South Africa and Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls. The photo is of us getting ready for our balloon ride in the Serengeti. It was a great trip and a wonderful combined Christmas and birthday present!
