“All You Need Is Love” 45 cover.
During the course of our Beatles Tribute we had to change instruments to capture the feeling of the various periods of their music. After Paul (and also Kim when he was in the band… I think!) finished “With A Little Help From My Friends” Jon had this ingenious idea of taking talking clips from the Beatles themselves to give us time to scramble to our next instruments.
Somewhere he found a bootleg of past holiday messages the Beatles had sent to their fan club. Here we hear Paul talking with a very inebriated John Lennon making cheeky comments. In this clip, I give Ken my bass and I switch to piano. Jon sings lead on the song which is taken from our Port Byron performance of our Tribute to the Beatles #2
Please take note that I am going out of town for a 10 day vacation, so I am not sure I will be able to do much posting, if any. Look for more after September 1st!
