“Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart’s Club Band” – “With A Little Help From My Friends” Medley

Cut from our Beatles Tribute, here are a couple of Beatle cover tunes that really stand out. This came out when Jon and I still were working together at Peterson’s Department Store (I think). We bought this album and eagerly brought it back to my house to play it on my dad’s stereo in the basement.

We were not sure what to think at first. It was so different than everything before it. To be honest, I didn’t like it that much at all until I had listened to it several times through. To this day, it is my least favorite record the Beatles did.

On our version, first we have Jon singing am excellent lead on “Sgt. Pepper” and then Paul does his best Ringo imitation on “With A Little Help”. As you can hear, the audience reaction at the end was very good that night.
