“Good Day Sunshine”

This song was cut from the Beatles Tribute Show #1 so it is an abbreviated version. During the interludes where the Beatles are talking, we would switch instruments; Jon from 6 string to 12 string, Ken from guitar to bass and me from bass to piano. Once I switched to the piano, Ken played all the bass parts. We had about 6 or 7 tunes that we did with piano in each set, some were in both and some were only in one set. This was only in Show #1. We did a very good cover of this song with Jon singing lead and the rest of us on the harmonies. Carl didn’t have the sound up on the keyboard, so my piano solo is a little hard to hear… even if it was accurate! I was very proud of getting it right!
