Here is another cover version of the Beatles song we did in our tribute. All the songs in the tribute were shortened to include the most important parts. We also worked on putting them together with words that were the same, if at all possible. But we also knew many of the songs in the long versions too. “Eight Days a Week” was always a hit. On this one, Jon and I share the lead vocal thus “double tracking” just like John and Paul did on the original.
Even though it is heavy on the bass, the recording is not as warm as I think it sounded live. This was recorded in Port Byron at a club we played several times so they must have liked us because they invited us back!
