I sang lead and played the electric piano while Ken played bass. Jon and Ken did backup vocals on this Atlanta Rhythm Section Song. I think Ken and I changed some words in the chorus to be funny. See if you can catch it.

I really liked this song from the Atlanta Rhythm section. Ken was always bringing new music to us to learn, and this was one of the tunes that we thought might reshape our sound.
After years of playing Beatles songs, the A&R man at Atlantic Records in New York thought we sounded too much like the Fab Four and didn’t think we had our own sound.
So in an attempt to change our image, we learned a bunch of songs from Cheap Trick, The Cars, Tom Petty, Elvis Costello and other so-called New Wave bands just to give our music a little harder edge.
If memory serves, we learned this song right before we decided to put the Beatles Tribute away in order to foster our new sound. Unfortunately, the band broke up about a year later.
