Friends,

What’s new with The Silvers? With Mick in his Show Low, Arizona studio, he has been working on some new material for the upcoming recording session. Right now it looks like early 2026. We had planned an early-mid December session, but Mick will be away on a European Christmas cruise until December 14th. However, he gave himself an early Christmas present… or two… A new ’64 model of the Hofner, 500-1 (from Musician’s Friend) was the first and then a new Yamaha FG820 (from Sweetwater). What’s the FG stand for? Friggin’ GREAT!.

Dain Says, “I have been enjoying using two new guitars on demo recordings that I have been working on for our next recording session. I’ve been listening to new album releases by a couple of my favourite bands, and was ecstatically happy and inspired to see Supergrass – one of my favourite bands  – at The Warfield in SF,  touring for the 30th anniversary of their hit debut album (30 years….Eesh!). Have also been enjoying relatively mild summer with a few visits to the beaches of Northern CA. Now looking forward to the Fall (I’m a Brit after all) and to getting back into the studio soon with the fellas!”

Carl says, “I’ve been playing quite a bit, work on my skills and keeping my musical chops up.  Also working on a couple of songs to turn over to Dain and Mick to see what they can do with them.   And enjoying the mild summer weather we’ve been having in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We also have new subscribers from the Radio Airplay (Jango) website”

Once again, we want to thank you all for supporting us by listening to our music!
