This morning I had this idea to show Silver Laughter members then and now, nearly 40 years later. So the first photo shows Mick, Jon and Ken (who didn’t make the IRRMA ceremony) singing. In the back of the picture you can see the screen for our Beatles slide show and/or film clips.
Picture number two shows Paul on his drums, probably growling as he wails away on them!
Picture number three is of Mark Zaputil during one of the early performances after I had joined the band.
Picture number four shows Kim in the studio for “Handle With Care”. It’s similar to another photo I already posted. He looks very serious, probably lamenting the fact that they won’t let him play his cymbals!
Finally, the photo from 2014 when we received our award for being inducted into the Iowa Rock & Roll Association’s Hall of Fame shows us today. From left, Mark Zaputil, Mick Orton, Jon Ludtke, Kim Ludtke and Paul Staack.
Photo credits: #1, #2 and #4 courtesy of Carl Frisch, #3 came from Mark Zaputil and #5 was taken by my wife, Janis Stone.
