1978-March calendar

So we had the last three days off at the end of February and the first two of March before hitting it hard! We did a one-night job at The Two Brother’s Club in Rock Rapids, Iowa, then another one night stop at our popular Valhalla Ballroom in Slayton, Minnesota.

Sunday was a day off before we spent the next week at the Buccaneer Club (again) in Willmar, Minnesota. Then another Sunday off before playing one night at Hotel Ft. Des Moines in Des Moines, Iowa. I have to think at this point in our evolution that these one night jobs paid really well.

So after Des Moines, we sat out the next three days before playing three nights at McNasty’s (again) in St. Cloud, Minnesota. With no time for travel, I am thinking we packed up that night and headed to Pierre, South Dakota for six nights at the Flame Room.

We then had one day to catch our breath before heading to the Kongo Club (again) in Mitchell, South Dakota to finish out the month! As you can see we often returned triumphantly to places we had played earlier!
