Silver Laughter 1978 – Ken’s head, Mick, Paul and Jon
Since I was not in the band from the beginning, I was a bit sketchy on the origin of Silver Laughter. The real story is the original band which featured Jon and Kim Ludtke, Steve Elliott, and John Carstensen was formed in August of 1969.
The band went through several membership changes during the almost ten years we were together. The final members were Jon and Kim Ludtke, Ken Wiles and Mick Orton who broke up in April or May of 1979.

I wanted to be sure I corrected the record.
The top picture is from the Rock Island session in October of 1978 before Paul left the group. Also included is a shot from our final publicity photo session (posted elsewhere on the site) when Kim came back.
