One of the early members of Silver Laughter, John Carstensen, will also be inducted into the Iowa R&R Hall of Fame for 2014. I “borrowed” these two photos from Mark Zaputil’s Facebook page along with his captions.
“John on stage with Silver Laughter, I believe the only picture I took of John with the band. Although I had joined the band in May; John played this last gig with them as I had not been worked into the band enough to play this gig in Burlington, Iowa USA June of 1974.”

About the second picture, Mark says, “Picture of John in his home, I think it was in LeClaire, Iowa. This was taken a couple of years after we had both become Silver Laughter washed-up has beens.”
