Here are a couple more photos sent to me by Mark Zaputil who left the group shortly after I arrived and was replaced by Ken Wiles.

The first is a photo near the end of his tenure with Silver Laughter playing drums at the Cavern Club in Moline, IL.

As I have explained before, Mark played drums while Kim played the electric piano during “Color My World” which Jon sang. I am on the right playing bass. Could Ken have been in the audience that night?

This second photo is one of Mark on his Gibson SG guitar playing with Silver Laughter at a St. Ambrose College party, probably at a fraternity house around 1974 before I was in the band.

It looks like Kim with a beard on drums, and that’s Jon’s back on the right side of the photo. Look at all those Fender amps!

  1. Mick: I believe we played together in SL for 8 months before I left the band, my last gig with SL was at a Ramada Inn at Des Moines, Iowa July of 1975.
