More History from “Handle With Care”

As we were heading into the studio to record “Handle With Care”, Kim announced that he was leaving the group to go back to school. So we scrambled to find a replacement drummer.

When I left Tabernash in Colorado, the band broke up instead of trying to find a new bassist. That left Paul Staack available to join Silver Laughter. If you look at the credits on our first album, you can see that Paul was with us in the studio.

He was the voice of the judge on “Whiskey Heaven” and most certainly did some hand claps on “Angela”. There may have been more percussion contributions he did on other songs… I just don’t remember!

I do remember I was starting to get sick from hepatitis B during those sessions and played some of the tracks laying on the floor.
